Study the Bible, and Study It With Anyone

A nine-module course that takes you from feeding yourself in the Word, to studying it with anyone, to helping a group open it together — discovery-first, reproducible, and warm.

This course has one goal: that you would learn to feed yourself in the Bible, learn to study it with anyone, and learn to open it up so a group can meet Jesus without you doing the talking. You don’t need to be an expert. If you can ask a question, you can do all of this — and pass it on.

The whole method is three moves you’ll come back to every week:

  • 🍞 Eat the Word — read, re-read, and retell it.
  • 🥣 Digest it — four questions that move you from insight to obedience.
  • 🌱 Grow — God gives the growth; that part is His (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Nine short modules, in three parts:

  1. Feed Yourself — a taste, then how to eat, digest, and build the habit for life.
  2. Reach Anyone — untraining what “witnessing” means, finding the open door, and reading with a not-yet-believer.
  3. Open It Up — facilitating a group without teaching, then protecting and multiplying it.

Every module opens the same way — by asking how last week’s commitment (one specific sentence that starts “I will…”) went, and who you told — and closes with a new one. That loop, not any lecture, is what carries the whole course. Grab a Bible (or your phone), pick a day, and let’s go.

Chapters

  1. A Taste, and the Two WhysWe don't talk about Bible study — we do one. Then we name the two reasons we open the Bible at all.
  2. Eat ItRead, re-read, retell. If you can't tell it back, you haven't swallowed it yet.
  3. Digest ItThe four questions turn the swallowed story into faith and obedience — and a study without a commitment is just information.
  4. Feed Yourself for LifeYou don't need an expert to open the Bible. You need the Word, the Spirit, and a habit — and God gives the growth.
  5. Reach AnyoneUntraining what "witnessing" means — invite people to the Bible, not the building — and giving your one-minute testimony.
  6. The Open DoorLook for the person of peace, and issue a real invitation — to read the Bible together, with a name and a date.
  7. Reading TogetherRead with a not-yet-believer using the same simple method — no pressure, no closing. The Word and the Spirit do that work.
  8. From One to a GroupLeading a group is not explaining it well — it's asking, and biting your tongue. You're the one who opens the roof, not the one who heals.
  9. Protect It, Multiply ItHandle hard moments by process, not authority — and give the group away. Your success is leaders released, not groups led.
