What a discipleship group does
The same three movements as your church, at the size of one group
Identify, Equip and Connect ask smaller things of a group than of a church. None of it needs a budget or a new night of the week — it needs your group leaders to know what to ask for.
Identify — every group prays for people by name
Ask each group to name three people they know who are not in the room, and to pray for them every week. Someone on that list is closer to God than they have said out loud.
Equip — one method, learned in an evening
Read a short passage, tell it back, talk through a few simple questions, and each say what you will obey this week. Every group in your church can learn it in a single meeting, and any member can lead it.
Connect — the group helps the next one start
When a member is ready to open the Bible with someone of their own, the group helps them begin. That handoff is the difference between a group that studies and a group that multiplies — and it is what your church counts.

How to lead one
Start with one hour in one group
Pick one group and a meeting it was already having. Learn one study together and pray for three people by name. Then count what changed: how many members opened a Bible with someone this month.
