1:1 Coaching

Byron coaches your church’s point leader, one on one, every week.

Set in the alignment meeting

Your church names one point leader — the pastor or whoever leads discipleship — and Byron coaches them every week. Together you build a written disciple-making plan for your church, then work it: the leader opens the Bible with real people, trains others to do the same, and brings back what happened. Your church does the work; you don’t do it alone. Byron takes on a limited number of churches at a time, so when he’s full there is a waitlist.

Who it is for

  • Churches ready to make disciple-making church-wide
  • A pastor or discipleship lead who wants a guide, not just a group
  • Churches with someone who has the time to carry the plan

What you get

  • Weekly one-on-one coaching with Byron (60 minutes, on video)
  • A written disciple-making plan for your church, revised as you go
  • A Health Check review every quarter, including your baseline: how many of your people now open a Bible with seekers
  • Messaging with Byron between calls
  • A Disciple-Maker Cohort seat for your point leader

Before we start

Your church signs a short commitment first. If your church cannot pay, a sponsor can cover most of the cost — see how sponsorship works.

  • Your minister and elders agree in writing to the changes the work requires.
  • One named point leader, and a core group of at least a handful of committed members.
  • A baseline measure at the start, and the same measure every quarter.
  • Open reporting to CoMission — and to your sponsor, if you have one.

Signing up

After your alignment meeting we’ll send a written agreement: three months to start, then month to month, with 30 days’ notice to stop. Christian Ministry Alliance, CoMission’s fiscal sponsor, then invoices your church monthly.
