    • Jesus does not make Peter grovel; he asks him a question and then hands him a job. What kind of God does that?

    • Peter had denied Jesus three times, and Jesus asks three times. Why do you think the number matched?

    • What have you failed at that you thought was the end? What is the next step you will take?

    • Who thinks they are finished because of what they did? What will you tell them?

Jesus, you asked Peter three times if he loved you — once for every time he said he did not know you — and then you gave him work to do. Thank you that failing is not the end with you.
