1. What does this show me about God?

   • God is not even mentioned in this scene. What does that tell you about how quiet a cover-up can be?

2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

   • The brothers do not say the lie out loud — they hand over the coat and let their father work it out. Is showing something false the same as saying it?

3. What will I obey this week?

   • Have you ever let somebody believe something wrong without actually saying it? What will you clear up this week?

4. Who will I tell?

   • Who is sad because of something they were told? Who could you be honest with today?
