Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • God heals a foreign commander who is not one of his people. What does that tell you about God?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • Naaman is furious because the cure is too simple. Why do people want the answer to be complicated?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • What simple thing have you been told to do that you will just do this week?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • A servant girl started all of this by speaking up. Who could you speak up for?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

God, a great general had to do something small and silly-sounding to be healed. Help me obey the simple thing instead of arguing about it.
