Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • God announces the birth of a king to shepherds, not to a palace. What does that tell you about God?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • The shepherds go straight away, and then tell everyone. What do people do when news is genuinely good?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • Who will you tell some good news to this week?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who around you gets treated as unimportant? What could you say to them?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

God, you sent the news of your Son to shepherds working the night shift. Thank you that you tell the good news to everybody. Help me be somebody who runs to see.
