Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • Boaz protects and feeds a foreign woman he does not have to help. What does that show you about God, who is like that?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • Ruth was working in the hardest, lowest job there was. How do people usually treat somebody in that position?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • Who will you go out of your way to be kind to this week?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who is new, or left out, where you are? What is one thing you will do for them?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

God, Boaz was kind to a stranger nobody else noticed. Thank you for people who are kind to me. Help me notice the person everybody else walks past.
