Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • God says something is 'not good' and then he fixes it. What does that show you about God?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • When have you felt lonely? What did you wish somebody would do?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • Who will you go and sit with this week so that they are not on their own?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who do you know who is lonely, and what will you say to them?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

God, you saw that being alone was not good. Thank you for the people you have given me. Help me be a good friend to them.
