Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • God makes things just by saying them. What does that tell you about how strong he is?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • God looks at what he made and says it is good. What does that tell you about the world you live in?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • What is one thing you will look at this week and thank God for making?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who could you show something beautiful to, and tell them who made it?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

God, you made light out of nothing at all. Thank you for making a world I can see. Help me look at it today and remember you.
