Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • Jesus forgives while it is still happening, before anybody is sorry. What is Jesus like?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • One criminal mocks him and the other asks to be remembered. What made the difference between them?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • Who is hard for you to forgive? What is one thing you will say or do this week?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who thinks it is too late for them? What did Jesus tell the man beside him?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

Jesus, you asked your Father to forgive the people who were killing you, while they were doing it. I cannot understand that. Thank you.
