Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • Jesus tells her, "your sins are forgiven," in front of everybody. What kind of person does that?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • Jesus says the one forgiven much loves much. What does that say about people who think they have not done much wrong?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • What has God forgiven you for? How will you thank him this week?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who gets looked down on where you live? What will you do about it?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

Jesus, she cried on your feet in front of a room full of people who despised her, and you defended her. Thank you for being like that.
