   • Jonah says he ran away because he knew God was gracious and slow to anger. What does it mean that he knew this in advance?

2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

   • Jonah wanted mercy for himself and justice for everybody else. Do you ever want that too?

3. What will I obey this week?

   • Who would you rather God did not forgive? What will you do with that this week?

4. Who will I tell?

   • Who is angry at somebody who got a second chance? What could you say?
