Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • God says he knew Jeremiah before he was born and had already chosen him. What does that tell you about God?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • "I am only a child" is Jeremiah's excuse, and God does not accept it. What excuse do you use?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • What is one thing you will do this week instead of saying you are too young?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who needs to hear that God can use somebody their age?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

God, Jeremiah said he was too young, and you said go anyway. Thank you that you do not think I am too small. Help me speak when you tell me to.
