Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • The spies bring back real fruit and a frightening report. What did they forget about God in between?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • They say "we seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes." How does fear change the way you see yourself?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • What have you decided you cannot do? What is one small step you will take at it anyway?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who talks themselves out of things? How could you encourage them?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

God, ten men looked at the same land and only saw giants. Help me see what is true instead of only what is scary.
