Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this passage show me about God?

    • The twelve spies all saw the same land — how does the report of the ten differ from what Caleb and Joshua say?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about myself?

    • When you look at what's ahead of you, do you sound more like the ten spies or like Caleb — and why?
  3. What will I obey this week? (a concrete step, with a day)

    • Where will you say with Caleb this week, 'we can certainly do it,' because God is with you?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who near you is being talked out of something good by fear, and how could you encourage them the way Caleb did?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

Lord, ten spies saw giants and two saw you. Open my eyes to how big you are, so fear doesn't talk me out of the good you have for me.
