Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this passage show me about God?

    • How do the two debts in Jesus' story compare, and what does the forgiven servant do?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about myself?

    • Whose debt against you are you still keeping count of in your heart?
  3. What will I obey this week? (a concrete step, with a day)

    • Whom will you forgive this week — concretely releasing the debt, and telling them if you can?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who needs to hear the story of the enormous debt God forgives?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

Father, you canceled a debt I could never repay. Root out every grudge I am still collecting on, and teach me to forgive without delay.
