What does this show me about God?
- Peter says the promise is for them, for their children, and for people far away. What does that tell you about God's promise?
What does it show me about people — and about me?
- The people feel terrible and ask, "What shall we do?" What is good about asking that question?
What will I obey this week?
- Is there something you know is wrong that you will turn around from this week?
Who will I tell?
- Who could you tell that God's promise is for kids too?
Grow
Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).
Pray
God, when the people understood what they had done to Jesus, you did not turn them away — you offered to forgive them. Thank you that your promise is for kids too. Help me turn around when I am going the wrong way.
