Digest

Answer from what the passage actually says — stay in the text.

  1. What does this show me about God?

    • The Holy Spirit chooses who goes. What does that tell you about who is in charge of the church?
  2. What does it show me about people — and about me?

    • The church is sad to say goodbye but sends them anyway. Why would a church give away its best people?
  3. What will I obey this week?

    • Where could you "go" this week — a new kid, a neighbour, a family member — to talk about Jesus?
  4. Who will I tell?

    • Who are the people who told you about Jesus? Could you thank one of them this week?

Grow

Growth is God's part, not yours. Do the cycle faithfully and trust Him to give the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6–7).

Pray

God, the church in Antioch gave you two of their best friends and sent them off to tell others about Jesus. Thank you for the people who first told me. Help me be ready to go wherever you send me.
