For anyone exploring — or just beginning
Start here
You don't need to know much, believe everything, or clean your life up first. You need an open Bible, an honest question, and someone to read with. This page is how to begin.
How it works
Read it. Talk about it. Do it.
Almost everyone who follows Jesus started the same way: reading a short passage with someone else and talking it through. That's a Discovery Bible Study — simple enough that anyone who can ask a question can do it.
Eat the Word
Read the passage, read it again, then tell it back in your own words. Retelling it is how you know you've really taken it in.
Digest
Talk through four questions together. This is where a story on the page becomes something you actually do.
Grow
You don't have to make anything happen. You read, you obey what you see, and God gives the growth.
The four questions
- What does this teach me about God?
- What does this teach me about people — and about me?
- What will I obey this week?
- Who will I tell?
No study guide, no expert, no cost. A passage, these four questions, and honest answers.

Pick a place to start reading
Each plan is a short list of passages, one at a time, with the four questions beside them. Start wherever you are — you can always switch later.
If you're exploring who Jesus is
Begin with the story itself. These walk through who Jesus is and what he did, so you can decide what you make of him.
If you've just started following Jesus
Begin with the ground under your feet — who you now are, and the first steps of following him day by day.

Equip every believer
You don't have to be an expert to help someone know Jesus
Ordinary believers can help others encounter God through Scripture. You don't need to be a scholar — you need to trust the Word and the Holy Spirit, and be willing to walk with someone. Whether your church uses CoMission or not, there is a way for you to start.
